A fully-immersive campaign launch worthy of Bond 25th anniversary. Experience 007 like never before. This experience will engage users on a special mission taking place in-between Spectre and the next-awaited James Bond film. Guiding the users through a number of interactive touchpoints (AR, Mixed reality, VR, Social channels) bridging the physical and digital space, the narrative will interweave Samsung devices and contents from the James Bond world in a unique experience, powered by Samsung smart technology.

Shadow play: Step into 007’s world
007 has gone off the grid, no one knows his whereabouts, not even his direct colleagues. Players take on the role of a new MI6 recruit, tasked with establishing contact with 007. The adventure will start after users receive a video call from Miss Moneypenny, she directs you to the last known location of 007. Players enter James’ apartment and find it ransacked. What happened, where is James and why did he leave in such a hurry? Players interact with Samsung products in the room to progress throughout the experience, allowing them to discover and unlock exclusive easter egg content. Gather clues, use your instincts, solve the mystery. MI6 is counting on you.
1st touchpoint
Galaxy Home
When players start the experience, the apartment is dark, the moon lightly illuminates the flat. A window is left open, curtains lightly blowing in the wind. To progress throughout the experience users will be prompted to walk to the Galaxy Home and interact with it using voice controls (or tapping on selected interaction buttons). They have to instruct Bixby to turn the lights on - with a perfectly lit room it is easier to find what you are looking for.
2nd Touchpoint
Gear S3
The second touchpoint sees users interacting with the Samsung Gear S3 James left on his sofa. Interact with the device and access 007’s latest messages to discover vital information. A message from Miss Moneypenny suddenly pops up, with timely instructions on where to go next.
3rd Touchpoint
QLED TV
Turn the TV on to find out what 007 was watching seconds before he left the apartment in a hurry. Ask Bixby to re-watch what James was watching last, using the latest watched function, find and browse through the surveillance footage and locate the mysterious person Bond is looking for.
4th touchpoint
Samsung S9
As the security footage plays on the QLED TV, the last touchpoint is unlocked. The Samsung S9 that 007 left for you in the room to discover starts ringing - follow the ringtone and find the phone to pick up the call! It’s James himself, calling you from a remote unknown location, explosions in the background, someone is trying to breach his location, quickly, there isn’t much time. He needs you for one more favour...Suddenly the call gets disconnected, but not before James tells you he will be in touch soon. Players are instructed to connect with their social media accounts to continue the experience.
Easter egg content
A variety of hidden content will be available for players to discover:
AR translator
While exploring the room players are able to discover mysterious scrapbook articles written in a foreign language stuck to the wall. Players use live translation to translate the articles in AR in real time - discover clues and exclusive content on the next James Bond film.
Nudges to previous James bond movies
The room will be filled with nudges to old James Bond movies - for the superfans. A small model of the car 007 used to drive in “Live or Let Die” , a photo on the coffee table of 007 with 006 from “Golden Eye”, etc.
Interact with Qled TV and discover hidden contents
Access Hi-res photo galleries with exclusive behind-the-scene material of the upcoming James Bond film. Or connect to Spotify and discover the latest James Bond theme song.
Continuous activations AR mini-missions
The launch will be followed up with different activations featured on several digital OOH screens (in the vicinity of Samsung 837 or other Samsung flagship stores) recruiting passers-by to complete mini-missions. Once users download the app / activate the AR experience in their browser, 007 characters briefs users with mini-missions. These include interacting with objects in AR, browsing through security footage, and listening in on a rogue agent’s conversations. The mini-missions could be stand-alone operations leading to rewards (discounts in Samsung 837, exclusive 007 contents or behind-the-scenes footage from the forthcoming 007 film) - or part of a bigger narrative, engaging users to complete an overarching mission that will reward them with bigger prizes and unique opportunities, perhaps whilst the film’s out at the cinema.

Surveillance Training
An MI6 agent knows how to move around undetected. Your mission is to follow a rogue operative, follow him around in AR to his final destination, but watch out he doesn’t spot you. Players follow him to the Samsung 837 entrance, where they report to M to unlock exclusive contents and finish the mini mission.
AR MINI MISSION X 2
The Briefcase
A video message from M will brief players on the next mission. Mysterious briefcases have popped up in key locations around cities in the world, players are tasked with finding a briefcase and retrieving the contents inside. But it isn’t that easy, players use AR to interact with the briefcase as they would in real-life: switches are flicked, buttons pushed and gears are rotated, crack the code and open the case to retrieve the vital information inside. To complete the mission, the user could be guided to the store to deliver the important file.

The Helicopter
A highly classified document is being transported in an assault helicopter, players need to spot the helicopter using their phone and follow it to the drop off location. Meet the agent and reclaim the document to finish this mission.

Surveillance Footage
Being able to look through Surveillance footage is an important part of any agents job. In this mission players are tasked with browsing through the security footage in AR, M needs your help to find the double agent that is trying to frame 007. Interact with top secret files and security footage to enjoy exclusive contents, scan through a slow motion/crowded scene from the next James Bond film, and find the still image of the rogue agent.
AR MINI MISSION X 5
Wiretapping
There’s a dangerous criminal hiding behind the walls of a nearby hotel room. Follow your colleague agent to a nearby location, then point your phone in the right direction to listen in on whatever is being discussed. Report back to 007 to unlock exclusive content.
AR MINI MISSION X 6
Hidden messages
Follow the informer to specific locations to find and reveal the special AR messages left for 007. Collect and reveal all messages to solve the puzzle and unlock exclusive content.
GRAND FINALE
Mixed Reality Experience
All the different touch points will eventually lead players towards a grand finale at Samsung 837 or Kings X for a full sensory, mixed reality experience. The location-based experience will take users through a narrative that will see them stepping into the shoes of an MI6 agent: walk into real-time hyper-reality that combines interactive sets, real time effects and the latest technology, complete tasks and gain a first-hand experience of the 007 world.
